Photographic Essay (CD)
A CD (Compact Disc) of German and Austrian photographs illustrates the villages of our Germanna ancestors along with short comments. The format of the information is the same as for a Web site and the information is displayed using a "browser" such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, AOL, or Netscape. Late versions of the MAC operating system can also display the material. The big difference is that the information from the CD is almost instantly available.
Not all of the photos are of the villages as this scene of the Heidelberg castle lighted at night shows. However, some of our ancestors might have seen this building above the Neckar River.
Freudenberg, about nine miles west of Siegen, is a popular spot with the tourists with cameras. Many different styles of buildings are to be seen in Germany.
Klings, the home of Cyriacus Fleshman, has a beautiful setting but many other villages do also.
A few of the early purchasers have sent comments on the CD:
"Wonderful Germanna Villages Photographic Essay. My husband and I agree you and Eleanor have done a wonderful job." "Great work." "The formatting is just great." "The CD is excellent." "I found the web pages to be very informative." "An outstanding job." "Great Work." "The pictures are excellent." "It has been a rewarding experience." "As a professional photographer, I am jealous of some of the photos."
The CD is offered with a money-back guarantee. If you have trouble using it or simply think it is a waste of your money, just send it back for a full refund.
